BTW, some of you know I used to act. Well, the actress in the "commercial" is the wife of an old friend of mine. I have another friend who auditioned for one of the American Vampire League commercials, but unfortunately she didn't get it. Apparently the website is doing LOTS of commercials, so hopefully my pals will get some gigs!
- Last weekend in NYC, a ten-year-old kid wearing an orange life jacket was singing The Phantom of the Opera at the top of his lungs while in a canoe as his mom and dad paddled them underneath the bridge in Central Park. Ah, theatre geeks. I love ya.
- RPattz thinks his head is flat and his hands effeminate. I love sexy men who are also clueless about their sexiness.
- Eric Northman. (I'm not done reading the new Sookie Stackhouse book, so DON'T SPOIL ME PLEASE!)
- Coffee. Coffee. Coffee.
- Shorts that fit, and comfy sandals. It feels like summertime here.
- I'm a mom on Mother's Day. I got a dozen red roses from Mr Brat. He is the best. :D
- My baby snores. His skin is all glowy, like he's lit from within. He smiles a lot. My heart melts every day. I can't read a book to him without getting all teary-eyed. :)

I decided to post For Those Who Have Fallen from High Places, along with two other Twilight fics, over at Twilight Fan Center for a contest. And it won FIRST PLACE out of 1000 entries! That means I won an autographed copy of Twilight. I am honored and stunned and completely thrilled, to say the least. :D
It's interesting, because I didn't think that particular one was the best of my stories. (I also posted my multi-chaptered fic A Change of Heart as well as another one-shot, A Consummation Devoutly to Be Wished.) But For Those Who Have Fallen was the one that won. Just goes to show what I know. ;)
